The 1.25× capacity margin
Static curb weight understates real loading when you roll on, shift the bike, or leave luggage and aftermarket parts installed. A center scissor / center-hoist jack raises from under the frame and needs a clear lift point and deck fit. A full motorcycle lift table supports the wheels on a platform with chocks and locks — better for longer wheelbases and ATV work when capacity clears.
